Shear Art Salon & Spa has been servicing the hair and skincare needs of Tampa’s finest since 1986. Joanne Powers, Shear Art’s owner, opened Shear Art at the Village Corners. After spending 11 years in the heart of Carrollwood Village, Shear Art moved to the Village Center in order to accommodate its booming client base. At present, Shear Art provides services for over 15,000 Tampa Bay residents.

Shear Art features the finest hair designers, nail and skincare technicians, hair replacement and extension specialists. Shear Art’s designers have been featured in five international magazines and 2 national television shows since 2002.

In Fall of 2013, Shear Art opened its second location in South Tampa, Shear Art Salon South.

In addition to being a community business, Shear Art hosts an annual cut-a-thon to benefit local charities. To date, Shear Art has raised over $100,000 for local charities.
